Just watery water rinse zero, with subtle notes of baking in cooling down tea soup, a light perfume in the emptied cup, a caressing aftertaste with new flavours popping up, a first real brew gives mouthfeel of apples just picked in autumn time with baking bitter notes apple pie skin part just out of an oven,

I already tried to ‘squezze’ out some lazy drops and they there are, full of fruity apple pie with cinamon, third brew brings overhelming scents in the air, and it is a full bite of the apple pie with roasted almonds sprinkled over it, still all gentle and soft, th mind gets meditative and quiet, more cinamon, the fift brew has great depth, all tones are so profound and all the taste buds are captivated, it is just so good so colourful, the clarity of the taste experience is impeccable and complete, a sirupy sweetness with fruity intense flavour like a cherry on top of creamy cake,

I am just startled, as tasted this tea twice in the previous days and was not able to get all these experience, the right moment for having this teas is indeed or rather requires time, space and comfortable setting of the mind, an attentative mind and senses would follow up, it is good to have the brew cool down a bit, develope patience that is rewarded with more flavours and completeness,

more brews bring liquor like feel, strong and full of taste, this tea is indeed a treat for hours of drinking and enjoying a time given to us.

This cultivar is originally not from Wuyi mountain and was brought here in 1980’s and slowly settling in. The  tea trees are growing in ecological almost wild enviroment, they are not pruned, over harvested, no fertilizers just to let it grow and thrive. This is brings out the tea its purity and unique character.
