Details:
some good teas one knows from the first rinse brew, the quality won’t lie, they won’t pretend, it’s there all the time, the second steep gives a very convincing unique character of Mansong tea,
this tea comes from a very remote place accessible only by motorbike ride that takes 40 minutes, even the trees are old only 50 or so years they yield amazing tea, so natural so good, so unique, so little bitterness nor astrigency, simply gong cha or tribute tea as this area was in the ancient times,
the 3 added 2024 autumn teas are very unautumn like, their mouth feel is more like spring one ofcourse you won’t get such a strenght as the spring ones but how many of you would feel it, I doubt I would, especially with this tea, with a longer steep there is this special bitterness blended with fresh and forest feel that creates a truly precious Yibang mountain tea, I have tried many Yibangs in the past years still this sticks out as a true ‘gong cha’.
the other atribute of good teas are their ‘longevity’ you steep them ‘forever’ ofcourse the intensity of the tea soup won’t be always the same but slowly prolonging the steeping time you get more and more out of the tea leaves and this tea is a very good example of it,
if you still interested in other 2 autumn teas then jump to part [2]
