I am just drinking Veian maocha 2014 and I thought to try and write some notes about his last small bings he produced. Looking at the bing the tea leaves goes all to grey green which is good and an aging progress could be anticipated. Already the first 2 minutes brew is very rich, oily and balanced. A strong fruityness can be felt with reverse exhale (swallowing tea, closing mouth, and exhaling with a nose). The tea is already ‘tamed’ a bit comparing to a fresh maocha, the brew is darker (attaching photos of it). In later brew very nice exotic woods note, this is typical with ancient old tea trees.
This is a restock of Veian’s small bings, already aged one year in his place of North Thailand Mae Salong mountains.
