Obviously this flavour is hard to describe, when you bake a fruit and eat its skin too, rather liquor like sharpness and tastyness, macerated fruits, seeds and roots, high minerality, a good bit of Qi flowing through the body, a piece of sweetness on the tongue. Ohh a cinamon in the empty pitcher, what’s that? A cake again? A this spiceness on my toungue, still there and telling me drink another cup of this tea. The obvious is the cinamon like spice in it I know now.
Who drinks such tea? I had a period of my life drinking Wuyi teas but it somehow ended. So far I had no chance to taste and source some until now. The experience sampling these teas persuaded me as in the past I had days when I had not puerh on my table and within such day I had to brew puerh too later on but these teas… They provide different experience like old gushu leaves still so good, tasty, refreshing, invigorating one that completely fills one with ‘tea’ satisfaction.
The flavours are very intense, so much fruitiness, with a pure feeling of very well processed tea. The roasting so nicely encapsulated in the flavours that it simply belongs and fit in. And there is little wildness notes in the taste just making me thinking of good ecological enviroment.
They call this floral Rou Gui although I can feel a bit of with reverse sniffing, maybe I am not a flowerly guy and cant associate such. Anyway do not worry we all have our own worlds, realities in which we see differently the objects we encounter.
I close the deal here and see you at part [3].
Ohh dont close the door! The show goes on, the cold tea in the cup gives more sugary dessert like feeling. Brew it more buddy! I am thinking if I imagining this or this is real, at this stage when I was telling people that gushu puerh is the final destination. Nope, it is not, boundaries are creations of our mind. So shall I believe this mind or rather my heart? This leads to other thing I was telling some people, let your heart choose your tea. Simply drink tea and if your craving says I want more, I want more the next week, I want that tea I had 2 weeks ago, I feel like buying this tea, so if you feel it just go for it. No matter who and what says about it.
