Details:
cocoa notes in the first and second brew, darker bitter cocoa, a very different feeling from the pressed version of this tea, this loose version is like an aged shou puerh, darker not only in colour but in taste too like a dark chocolate, ohh this is dessert shou pu as a cake like note comes up, noticably sweet and round, a warm and carresing for the cold days belly, you may experience the not well belly other day after drinking or eating something heavy and you have this home made broth soup for it, even the aroma of this tea is like a home made broth, no off notes neither flavours, all is pleasing, simple and relaxing
This loose version is the same material/leaves (batch number 6) as the one used for the pressed bings.
This shou/shu puerh is made of gushu old tea trees leaves. So it is a special tea as rarely such tea leaves are used to make shou puerh and indeed the teas is very special and very drinkable even for myself, a very rare occasion shu drinker.
This year Thai pu-erh teas wrappers are designed by Miloš Karásek, a slovak artist and my tea friend. The theme is the line that has no beginning and no end. They are printed on a natural paper that is very nice but could be fragile too. So forgive me any small breakages of the wrapping paper that might appear. The whole graphics beauty can be seen once the wrapper is fully unfolded.
