Baked, hint of milk, sirupy thick, autumn ripe plums, smooth and right, this tea is so round and so soft like my childhood memories of just right sweet ripe not even plums but grapes, those autumn flavours and moods of another ended summer, I dont know if its the tea but the craving for another cup faded and I dropped into a meditative state, listening to the autumn wind. The silence and the moment of just being.
OK lets pour more hot over these leaves. Ohh this liquor like proprety is very good a kind of light fermented fruit sweetness, a perfect cup of just right bitterness with just right sweetness. A delicate taste of fruityness along with slight acidity and with a good level baked bread crust. A subtle astringecy nicely complements the overal taste profile. The aftertaste is very tasty, fruity candy like and the mood is uplifted, eased and playful.
The tea soup when cooled down is also very tastefull, I learn that all the good teas taste well hot and even better when about the temperature of the body. Post addition: Looking at my previous notes there are these melon seeds hints, when you chew such seeds this hint, I describe it as liquor like, something cryspy, seeds like, bitter fruity notes so that the name of this tea melon seeds.
There is not much story in this part, forgive me, it seems I got to take it seriously as work this part, maybe to tell that tea drinking we sometimes take as a habit, as something we do every day but once such thoughts comes up, I would say I would rather that day sit and sip coffee as that is what I would like to do. Let’s do things with happiness so that we fully enjoy it. Please pour a cup of tea or simply feed your curiosity and go or part [4].
in order to fully understand or start to comprehend Yancha Oolong teas, try to brew it with 3 grams only in your tinies teapot you have and using just a bit water, covering the tea leaves, first brews can be only flash brews then prolonging them for even minutes, the true essence of these teas can be ‘dismantle’ first with these ‘rather not that rich’ tasting profile, distinguishing the details better, I personaly find ‘hardcore’ way using 8 or so grams for one-two person brewing
all these yancha oolong offered are pure and clean, in terms of taste and scents at the same time, the roasting is done finely and complemets each tea at a just right level, they all come from a respected generations long tea making trustworthy family
