Details:
the tea starts with a virgin pure feeling as I chose two tighter pressed chunks, they disolve pretty fast, after the tea soups gets thick and juicy, there is still this spring fresh feeling, the vigour of spring, be again with this tea gently as there is mighty beast inside hiding, the mood gets calm and meditative, the taste is unique compared to mind/switch and 970 years old tea tree, it has this young feeling, the uplifting wave of spring season, I just realized now with this and other new thai teas that you have to play with their way of brewing not just mindlessly brew them with boiling water, they are raw and so that they could be beasty
This tea is made of fresh gushu maocha that was sold this spring in this web shop. The maocha was picked as the very first in the spring at the end of February. It was liked by all friends who got it and one of them named it as ‘epic maocha’ so that its current name that sticked in my mind.
This year Thai pu-erh teas wrappers are designed by Miloš Karásek, a Slovak artist and my tea friend. The theme is the line that has no beginning and no end. They are printed on a natural paper that is very nice but could be fragile too. So forgive me any small breakages of the wrapping paper that might appear. The whole graphics beauty can be seen once the wrapper is fully unfolded.
